Only a few weeks of school left here in Utah which makes me excited for summertime barbecues and lying on the grass on a comfy quilt. This free project by Amy Smart makes such a fun quilt for all things summer.
She has the option to add the scrappy fun star block to the blue square or keep it simple with a blue square. Patchwork quilts are so fun and come together quick!
This quilt is great for using up scraps from your stash. Amy's tutorial is for 4" x 4" squares and the finished quitl size is 36" x 48". I love the idea of upping the block sizes to 5" x 5" or even bigger for a larger quilt that is charm pack friendly.
