Free Pattern Friday - It's Been a MInute!
I'm finally getting back in the swing of things with the kids back in school and life back to normal. Super busy! But good! I have dropped the ball on the blog - add it to the list of things that I have been neglecting. Sigh. But that is life sometimes!
Let's focus on the positive.
I finished a beautiful baby quilt to gift to my friend who is having her first grandbaby! I LOVED this pattern so much that I wanted to feature it today on Free Pattern Friday
Diagonal Strip Quilt Pattern
Things I Love About this Quilt:
Precut Friendly: I haven't made many quilts that use a jelly roll so I thought it would be fun to try one of those. Less cutting and strip piecing make this quilt come together so quick!
Make Your Own Size: With a fun modular block, this quilt is easily customizable to get to the size you want. I was just making a cute baby size quilt but you could easily go up to a large quilt.
Scrappy is the Best: I LOVE the random assortment of patterns and prints that give this quilt a vintage feel. Embrace the fun!
Beginner Friendly: This quilt is easy and quick and perfect for those of you just starting to explore the world of quilting.

We loved our version of the quilt so much that we made a kit with everything you need to make one at a great price point for gifting to someone you love.
