Free Pattern Friday: Sentimental Stars by Diary of a Quilter

There is something so beautiful about a two-tone solid quilt. Don't get me wrong, I love a good scrappy crazy quilt! But sometimes it can be refreshing to let the beauty of a quilt pattern shine.

Amy Smart of Diary of a Quilter just released this free pattern called Sentimental Stars. It features a few classic blocks repeated in two tones with a nice simple border for an elegant gorgeous finish. 

She also posted a picture of what it looks like with a mix of prints. I love how much fabric selection and placement can alter the feel of a quilt! 

I have a customer who wants me to replicate Amy's two-tone quilt in baby blue and white for her baby and I can't wait to get started and share pictures with you! 

This feels like a classic pattern you can use over and over again for many projects!
