This precut bundle of fabric includes 8 fat quarters, each 18" x 21". It doesn't include the fat quarter pictured second from the bottom.
A childhood spent in England and Hong Kong and semesters spent in India and Senegal left a mark on the way Katharine Watson sees and illustrates the world.
Flower Press, Katharine's first line for Moda, features bold florals, fine-lined foliage, and curvaceous vines in tone-on-tone and contrasting jewel toned hues.
Based on linocuts, which Katharine cuts into a linoleum block with a knife or gouge tool and then pressed with ink . She is delighted with the way the fabrics preserve the texture of the original block prints with a speckled, handmade feel.
