About the Line

Press On in part was inspired during a trip to Hamilton, Missouri, and a visit with Jenny Doan. I was invited to see her private studio space in the restored 1920 Public Library. Just inside the foyer, shelves of antique irons flank the front entrance which house Jenny’s extensive collection. I was captivated at first sight.

One of my original She Who Sews characters of the same name Press On, was the perfect pairing to highlight the charming household collectibles. Scripture inspiration featured throughout is from Philippians 3:14.
